YOGA CLASS
Soothe your morning with Free Yoga session guided by a Local Balinese Yoga Instructor in a large size of yoga room overlooking to the lush rice field and palm trees. Through this ancient art of classical yoga, you will learn techniques to still your mind, strengthen your body, and expand your consciousness using posture, breath work, meditation, and relaxation.
COOKING CLASS
The culinary space is situated within the area of our Resort and as such, you will commence the activity by visiting the Ubud traditional market at 08:00am for about one hour. This is where various local spices & vegetables are peacefully displayed and sold in a traditional way. For Balinese cooking experience, the location of The Kumbuh Restaurant takes a culinary class at 11.00 AM for the Lunch or 17.00 for the dinner.
BALINESE DANCE LESSON
Balinese Dances could never be separated from Balinese life. It most of the time becomes an important part in Balinese ceremonies while sometimes it is as well performed to entertain visitors from all over the worl. We invite our guest to join our team member in learning some simple movement of Balinese dances here in The Sankara Resort & Spa. Often, some children from the loal village come and join with the guest and make this lesson even funnier to experience.
MAKING BALINESE CANANG
One of the offerings, that a Balinese Hindu does to that Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa in praise and prayers, is known as Canang. Canang is seen in the Pura-the Balinese temples, on the mini shrines in houses, and on the ground or part of a bigger offering.
BALINESE DRESS
