Bali has some of the most spectacular beaches in Indonesia, and each one seems different from the next. Golden sand, rugged limestone cliffs, clean blue water and waves to lure serious surfers. Bali's coast has a place for everybody, whether it is a peaceful beach getaway, a romantic sunset trip or a holiday full of action and movement. That variety is really the strength of the island. Kuta Beach is known for its bustling energy and easy waves for beginners. Seminyak Beach is more polished, with upmarket resorts, trendy beach clubs and sunsets that attract people to the shore. Nusa Dua Beach is a calmer beach with turquoise waters, and good for families and swimmers. Padang Padang and Bingin draw surfers from around the globe. Melasni and Pandawa are notable for their cliffs and bright white sand. Jimbaran Beach has its own appeal, especially the seafood dinners by the water at sunset.
