The Jati Cottage in Ubud displays a combination of artful Balinese characteristics and a vintage contemporary style. The ownership of Jati Cottage is with a local who comes from the lineage of I Dewa Nyoman Jati, a Balinese artist and highly regarded as a painter. In his artworks, he paints the conducts of day-to-day native Balinese life known as the young artists. Rudolph Bonnet was his painting mentor, and he later collaborated with Aris Smith and Walter Spies to develop a new style that revolutionized art.
