Casa de Amed: Paradise by the Sea in Bali
By now, I already succeeded to visit some beautiful small guest houses hidden between the fantastic seaside scenery found in Bali; now, there was another on my list and this was Casa de Amed, a house that truly radiates calmness and natural beauty to guests searching for these values. Located in the picturesque fishing village of Amed, where its pristine beaches and colorful coral reefs prominently standout, this beautiful guesthouse really throws modern comfort into perfect synch with traditional Balinese charm.
As you step into the Casa de Amed, it is a wrapped sense of hospitality by the staff and the welcoming atmosphere of the property. Rooms are tastefully designed with an undertone of Balinese flair, featuring such props as wooden furniture and paintings-all within these tropical gardens. Each and every room is filled up with up-to-date comforts, including air-conditioning and free Wi-Fi, along with an ensuite bathroom to assure a comfortable stay to the guest. Many rooms also feature dramatic ocean views or outlooks to nearby mountains, providing a tranquil backdrop upon which to snooze.
One of the biggest positives about staying at Casa de Amed is its proximity to the beach: Amed Beach is literally just a short walk away, where soft black sand awaits. Famous for its sparkling-clear waters and fantastic snorkelling prospects, it's the perfect place for guests to soak up the sun and take in some of the local marine life. The other divers love it for salubrious corals and tropic fish. Casa de Amed is kind with its shops in the tours of diving and snorkeling around keeping guests close to the wonder of underwater region.
The food experience also would be no less tempting at Casa de Amed. Guests dine on a delicious range of Indonesian and Western dishes found in the onsite restaurant, including freshly sourced and local products. Every day, guests can have a hearty breakfast with whatever they want-from fresh fruits, pastries, or traditional Indonesian must-haves. In terms of dining at Casa de Amed, it's great because it is really wonderful to dine there, especially when you dine on the patio overlooking the ocean, listening to waves creating, as you know, that incredible ambiance.
For those wanting to get a little further afield from the immediate locality, Casa de Amed serves perfectly as an excellent base from which to enjoy a wide range of excursions. The staff is knowledgeable and more than happy to organise daily excursions for all interested into some of the attractions locally, such as the superb Tirta Gangga Water Palace, the ancient Lempuyang Temple, or the scenic rice terraces of Sidemen. It would not be complete to visit Bali without trying out the various adventures that are readily available, especially the treks up Mount Agung for glorious sunrises.
Apart from providing fantastic locations and decent rooms, Casa de Amed has also provided a wide array of wellness and cultural activities to its guests. It ranges from yoga, traditional Balinese massage, and cooking classes - all sure to bring the culture and tradition much closer to the visitor's fingertips.
Indeed, Casa de Amed is a haven by the sea, also one that brings relaxation, adventure, and cultural immersion to life. It is indeed warm hospitality, comfortable accommodation, savory cuisine, and proximity to beautiful beaches that promise an experience not to be missed by those touring in search of Bali's magic. Be it for a romantic escapade, for family time, or just a solitary retreat, here's just the right spot for some memorable stay.
