Seychelles Strengthens Global Tourism Presence at FITUR 2026

The Seychelles Tourism Board is actively taking part in the FITUR 2026 Tourism Trade Show, which is considered one of the world's leading trade exhibitions for the travel industry that takes place in Madrid-Spain from the 21st to the 25th of January 2026.

Tourism Seychelles will hold a series of targeted meetings in its exhibition area for international tour operators, airlines, as well as specialized travel agents to establish new networking contacts and enhance the visibility of the islands in Europe and beyond. The aim of the move is to encourage tour operators to feature Seychelles in their 2026 travel packages.

Seychelles stand focuses on the clean beaches, distinct biodiversity, and ecotourism of the archipelago, which makes it unique. Sites such as Anse Lazio, Anse Source d’Argent, and the Core of the Hall of Maio Nature Reserve UNESCO World Heritage Site will form part of the stand, together with cultural aspects such as Creole cuisine, songs, and arts of the country’s vibrant cultural heritage.

Official representatives explain that Seychelles is determined to ensure a responsible tourism industry and maintain its position as a ‘safe and quality tourism destination’. By taking part in the FITUR 2026 fair, Seychelles hopes to engage more tourists in ‘leisure and luxury tourism’, and improve flights in the airline sector.
