The name Ronce comes from element of our history, when slaves were bring to Seychelles, the plant Ronce was introduce and plant around the plantation to stay the slaves from avoidance. That was potential with the little and tender thorn on the vine. Nowadays it is just a very enveloping plant particularly in Anse Royale.
