Bambu Indah is a boutique hotel located in Ubud that combines antique structural design with luxury. The name “bambu indah” is a translation of “beautiful bamboo” referring to this cluster of antique teak houses. Bambu Indah cherishes its soil, which it believes must be taken care of and produce nutritious food. Dapoer is an Indonesian restaurant that serves food inspired by its archipelago roots, inside a unit whose innovation and inspiration reflects a strong connection with nature. It provides vegetables and herbs for both customers and employees alike. For instance, as opposed to most swimming pools that use highly concrete consisting chemical substances, this particular swimming pool consists of lava rock while allowing vegetation regeneration zones, which serve as practical means of cleaning, filtering and oxygenating water in addition to providing atmosphere for beneficial bacteria development. The hotel also has triple filter systems which are at par with hospital standards thus making the water safe for drinking directly from taps inside bedrooms.
